En ollut nähnyt mitään näistä tiedoista. Kiitos!

I had not seen any of this information. Thank you! I think for me learning how to and when to ask for help was important. I struggled with that a long time. Now I work for myself so it’s easier as I can decide which work areas I’d like to focus on and outsource for the rest.

I also chose a self-employed path! And find it much easier to handle. Granted, I have to do my own invoicing which is draining. But manageable.

I find it impacts me a lot in my personal life though: left/right confusion, difficulty reading a map and navigation (both poor for driving and going new places), trouble recalling numbers correctly (forgetting or swapping them) is challenging for baking/cooking, working out and counting sets, and entering in double authentication number codes 🤣 Amongst other things.

Thank you for your thoughts Emma! I'm so happy, that self-employment has been a possible career path for you! And: I totally feel you with the 'drainig nature' of the invoicing.

The personal life affects that you mention, really do demonstrate the multiple effects dyscalculia can have on persons life. Exactly. This.
